Cost & Registration Options
This year, you get to choose your adventure:
Saturday only – $150 + tax
Sunday only – $100 + tax
Both days – $225 + tax
All registrations include:
-Meals & drinks - lunch, dinner & snacks on Saturday, light breakfast on Sunday
-Education
-Onsite camping, if desired
-Long run support - hydration, electrolytes, nutrition, snacks on Sunday
-Transportation from Lanesboro, MN to Tailwind Acres on Sunday

Runner-specific stretch and strength session. No equipment needed.Free-Time + Happy Hour | 5:00 – 6:00p.m. Hang out, unwind, and soak in the farm vibes.
Dinner & Discussion | 6:00 – 7:30p.m.
A farm-style feast with options for everyone—meat, veggie, vegan—you name it. We will have a facilitated discussion about running … who doesn’t love runner chit chat?Unwind Time | 7:30 – 8:30p.m.
Dessert, body-care, and a possible movie!Camping (FREE!) Bring your tent or gear up your camper van. We’re encouraging everyone to stay onsite—Sunday’s run starts early to beat that July heat!

-12 segments totaling 53 miles
-Route winds north from our farm in Iowa into Minnesota
-Crosses into three river valleys, the Turkey, Upper Iowa, and Root!
-Expect rolling hills, prairie, forest, and Driftless beautyRules for the Road:
-The group must stay together the entire time, unless they are riding in the support vehicle - no one is allowed to run alone.
-Anyone can run as much or as little as they want, so long as they’re keeping up with the group.
-Support vehicle(s) will carry gear, water, nutrition and the cheer squad!Lunch + Drinks (O.Y.O) in Lanesboro, MN | 2:00 – 4:00p.m.
-Refuel in town and toast to all your hard work —bring your own money for food and shopping!Return to Tailwind Acres | 4:00-5:00p.m. We’ve got transportation lined up to get everyone and everything back to Tailwind and real life.

Join us for a morning of rest and reset with Heidi Rockweiler as she leads yoga on the farm from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Heidi is an experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Wellness Coach, and Certified Personal Trainer. After class enjoy a delicious homemade baked good and pick your own beautiful flower bouquet!

-Feel free to bring your own yoga mat, or use one of ours. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle!
-General parking is available in the field across the street.

-Absolutely no outside alcohol

Join us for a dining experience like no other! Enjoy a 4-course meal sure to delight your tastebuds as you take in the sights, sounds, and smells here at Tailwind Acres. We’re pleased to welcome Chef Jessica Baldus of Taste Restaurant to our farm. Chef Jes marries the flavors of local foods in unique and innovative ways. The Harvest Meal menu will be crafted and refined as the dinner approaches based on what’s available seasonally. For a sampling of what Chef Jes creates for her chef tables visit this link. About the Chef
Chef Jes Baldus is a celebrated chef and community advocate whose work blends culinary creativity with a deep commitment to service. Based in Iowa, she’s been recognized for her leadership in the kitchen and her dedication to supporting youth and local programs. In 2018, she was honored by the Iowa Restaurant Association for her community impact, and two years later, named one of their “40 Women to Watch” in the industry. Chef Jes has shared her love of food on national stages, appearing on Guy’s Grocery Games and Supermarket Stakeout, and was nominated for a James Beard Award in 2024. This year, she earned top honors at the Taste of Elegance’s Superior Chef competition and was selected as one of just 20 chefs across the country to take part in the Culinary Institute of America’s Culinary Enrichment and Innovation Program. Her cooking is grounded in generosity, bold flavor, and a desire to bring people together.
Harvest Table with Chef Pete Kerns
This meal and the ambiance will be steeped in all things autumn and feature some of the best local vegetables and cuts of meats around. We are thrilled to welcome you to Tailwind for an evening of exquisite dining. We’re so excited to welcome Chef Pete back this year as someone who really understands the full circle of what it takes to bring quality produce to the table. Chef Pete is offering a meat and a vegetarian option and will accommodate dietary restrictions within his capacity. On the off handed chance the weather is mild, we might opt for al fresco dining; however this call will be made the week of and communicated with you!

About the Chef:
Pete Kerns is a dedicated farmer and passionate cook who brings years of hands-on experience growing sustainable, high-quality produce in Eastern Iowa. He’s an advocate for good food and thoughtful cooking, with a background that includes farm to school work through FoodCorps in Montana, and years of hosting monthly Taco Tuesday dinners at Turkey River Farm. Most recently, Pete spent five months cooking with the Rome Sustainable Food Project at the American Academy in Rome, building on a style that celebrates fresh harvests and shared meals. His cooking is rooted in simplicity, care, and a deep respect for the food he grows and serves.
