Adam Adam grew up spending weekends on the Bohach family farm, about 25 minutes from our home. When he was 4 years old his toenails fell off after insisting he could keep up with the adults picking rock. That stubborn streak hasn’t left him. In his adult life it has manifested itself in the pursuit of endurance events. Adam has 15 years of teaching experience and embraces every moment of his summer break to do farming and his own training for marathons and road races. In addition to teaching high school science, Adam is a licensed massage therapist and coaches adult athletes in running and triathlons. From 2012-2014 he held his professional triathlete license, but gave up the swimming and biking for his first love, running. In college, she took on the role as campus garden manager and rekindled her love of all things gardening and food production. Flannery holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies and a Masters in Public Health in Community Health Education. She currently directs an employee wellness program at a community college. She loves that she’s able to combine her personal passions for connecting people to good food and physical activity for a living. She stumbled upon cross country in middle school when she thought it was a requirement to be involved in an extracurricular activity and cried after the first practice. She has dabbled with the marathon, but much prefers distances shorter than 10 miles.
